The start of Wellmark

'' If you start a business in this day and age, it has to be as good as possible. Good for you, the environment and good for the surroundings; according to Marleen.''

With that ambition, Marleen van den Bogaart founded her own company in 2017. Her dream was to develop a good product with a social contribution. She set out to find a good balance between commerce, beautiful products and 'doing the right thing'. She tested her products in concept stores in the Netherlands. The glass products with good quality ingredients and with a social aspect proved a great success! Marleen sold her products from her flat in the centre of Den Bosch. Soon all the rooms in her house were filled with boxes of stock and she started looking for another space to sell her products.

Since then, Wellmark has experienced tremendous growth and Marleen has expanded her team. Wellmark is now available in much of Europe, the UK and even America! Check out the store locator for an selling point near you!

A high-quality product that is vegan and sustainable, with a luxurious look and social contribution.

Character

The path our products take is reflected on the outside. High-quality content in chic and luxurious packaging. Not for one-time use but for endless pleasure. The handmade is reflected by the use of vintage labels, minimalist but hard-wearing. The fun quotes such as 'may all your troubles be bubbles' or 'bring out the bubbles' will put a smile on your face.

Sustainable:

Wellmark is committed to a better world, for this reason glass bottles were deliberately chosen. The glass not only provides a luxurious look, but also has a sustainable aspect. This is because the glass bottles can be refilled or reused. Wellmark has a wide range of refill packaging, making your glass bottle a timeless item, as you don't have to throw it away! Wellmark's ambition is to keep expanding this range so that all Wellmark products can be refilled.

High-quality product:

A lot of attention is also paid to the ingredients of the products, everything is carefully formulated. The formula of the hand soap has been improved several times to ensure the best product on the market. The ingredients are pure, so they do not contain bad substances such as: SLS, SLES and Parabens. These preservatives and substances are bad for your skin and hair. Something Wellmark does not want! The care products have a cleansing and soothing effect, allowing you to create your own home spa at home. You also don't have to worry about how the products are tested, as they are not tested on animals. For this, Wellmark holds the PETA seal of approval.

Social contribution:

Besides doing good for the world, Marleen also wanted to do her bit on a social level. ''A good product for you, the environment and the surroundings.'' That was her goal! For this reason, she started looking for organisations that could help her further. This is how the collaboration with the social workshops came about; this is where people with a distance to the labour market work. Who for whatever reason need some extra support, at the sheltered workshops they get the space to grow at their own pace. Participating in society gives the feeling of contributing to something and provides meaning. Wellmark has a pleasant cooperation with several sheltered workshops that produce Wellmark products.
